Replacing your wiper blades

Replacing your wiper blades

When is the right time to
replace your wiper blades? This is a question drivers usually ask only
when the snow and rain start pouring in and rarely during summer when it
is not needed as much. Road safety experts
suggest that car owners replace wiper blades once a year. A vehicle is
mandated to have a fully functional set of wipers. Wiper blades are used
to clear obstacles one may encounter on the road such as snow, dust or
rain, preventing road accidents.

A common mistake people make is
to disregard the windshield wiper altogether. Some become ripped and
torn as a result of the normal wear and tear process, thus making them
useless in giving you a clear vision of the road.

Some cars even have dual or
triple action wiper blades to give maximum cleaning action. No need to
use additional blades since these should only be used in extreme
conditions. Most vehicles, even junk cars have a universal attachment system for easy wiper blade replacement.
